Questions to Ask Daily Concerning our Dharma

January 24, 2018

Introduction

We need cosmic capital, because it is what saves us, it is what really helps us when are in difficulty. Physical money can sometimes help, but cosmic capital does always. It prevents us from getting sick and from suffering, or if we do have to suffer it makes our suffering easier to bear.

AM: What will I do today to Get Dharma?

Plan your day consciously to get dharma. Plan to work on yourself from the first thing in the morning or at night before going to sleep. Know what you are going to do and how you are going to do it. The firmer you are about achieving it the more likely you will.

Factor in mystical death, exercising your consciousness and doing something for others, whether the latter be praying for someone, giving someone something or doing something for others for their physical, psychological or spiritual benefit.

Noon: What have I done to get Dharma?

Sometimes we can get busy at work and we can’t so easily fit in our practices or works that benefit our essence, and therefore we can’t accrue too much dharma. So we need to check-in with ourselves and asking ourselves this question (What have I done to get Dharma today) is very helpful to bring us back to the plan that we created in the morning.

PM: What can I still do to get Dharma?

Sometimes if we are unlucky or rather we have gotten tired and very negligent or deeply identified, we can find ourselves in the situation where we have not done anything. Asking ourselves this question then helps to kick ourselves into gear to do something before the day closes.

Conclusion

Ask yourself these questions as often as you remember them, and what the most important thing really is, is to act upon your answers. Dharma and Karma are both created with action. We created karma acting and we undo it by acting!
